About Bettyhill Store & Fuel
Bettyhill is a small village on the north coast with a famous beach at Farr Bay and a deeply moving museum dedicated to the Highland Clearances — the forced evictions that devastated the Sutherland population in the 19th century. The combined store and fuel station is a community lifeline, also housing the post office. A good place to stock up on basics before the push east toward Thurso.
