About Kylesku Bridge Layby
A wide gravel layby beside the iconic curved Kylesku Bridge, one of the most photographed structures on the entire NC500. The layby provides a convenient free overnight spot with dramatic views across Loch a' ChΓ irn BhΓ in and into the wilds of northwest Sutherland. The setting is spectacular β jagged quartzite mountains rise above the loch on all sides. Kylesku village, just over the bridge, has a hotel pub (The Kylesku Hotel) renowned for its local seafood β lobster landed by the local fishing boats is frequently on the menu.

Park here at dusk for a genuinely memorable wild overnight. The Kylesku Hotel does excellent early dinners β highly recommended. No facilities at the layby so ensure you're self-sufficient.
