About Embo Beach
Embo Beach is the quieter neighbour of Dornoch Beach, 2 miles north of Dornoch at the small crofting and fishing village of Embo. Fine white shell sand and clear water with excellent views across the Dornoch Firth. A good alternative to Dornoch Beach if you prefer a quieter setting away from the town.

Grannies Heilan Hame park adjacent to the beach accepts motorhomes. Dornoch's facilities are 2 miles south for fuel and shops. A relaxed, quiet alternative to the busier Dornoch Beach.
Getting There
From Dornoch town centre, follow the minor road north to Embo (2 miles). Beach at the road end.
Best Time to Visit
Year round. Quieter than Dornoch Beach even in summer.
