Halberry Croft is a wonderfully characterful croft-run aire on the Caithness coast, offering informal motorhome pitching in a working croft environment. Payment is via honesty box. The crofter has historically left out free herbs from the garden for campers to use — a charming touch. This is authentic Highland hospitality. The location near Lybster gives easy access to the extraordinary Whaligoe Steps (10 minutes) and the scenic south Caithness coast.
