About Dunnet Bay Distillers
Dunnet Bay Distillers, producers of the award-winning Rock Rose Gin, sit near Dunnet Head โ the true most northerly point of mainland Britain โ in the dramatic Caithness landscape. Founded in 2014 by Martin and Claire Murray, the distillery uses water drawn from a spring on the Dunnet Head estate and botanicals foraged locally: sea buckthorn, rhodiola root, rowan berry, and devil's bit scabious all contribute to Rock Rose's distinctive character. The gin has won multiple gold medals at international spirits competitions and is now sold worldwide, but visiting the source โ the small, thoughtfully designed distillery near the famous surf beach at Dunnet Bay โ gives the liquid proper context.
