The Torvean site in Inverness is part of the Highland Council's Motorhome Scheme and one of the most comprehensive motorhome service points on the route. Located near the Caledonian Canal on the western edge of Inverness, it offers cassette toilet emptying, grey water disposal, fresh water fill and electrical connections. This is the ideal place to start your trip with fresh tanks and empty cassettes before heading into areas with fewer facilities.

Motorhome Waste Guidance
♻️ Responsible Disposal
Never empty cassette toilets into public toilets, rivers, or the sea. Use designated dump stations only. Grey water (sink/shower water) should also be disposed of at service points, not tipped onto the ground. The Highland Motorhome Scheme (£40/week) includes access to designated service points — excellent value on a week-long NC500 trip.
